Public Method (Inherited from System.ServiceModel.ClientBase<IReinsuranceCompanyLossSetManagementService>)
Public MethodSubmits a request to retrieve the list of all company loss file (CLF) sets or company loss association.

A company loss file set can include a set of company loss files or company loss associations including company loss file set name, company name, program names, portfolio names, expiration date, compatible model versions, and so on.

Public MethodRetrieves a list of the existing company loss sets in a given Business Unit, SQL Server Instance, and company.
Public Method (Inherited from System.ServiceModel.ClientBase<IReinsuranceCompanyLossSetManagementService>)
Public Method Submits a request to convert CSV company loss files set to Ulf loss files.
Public MethodDeletes a company loss set.
Public MethodSubmits a request for converting the exceedance probability(EP) loss summary data for a single curve or multiple curves to a binary user loss file (ULF).

This feature enables to interpolate and extrapolate your summary loss points to a full 10,000 point EP curve, including disaggregation to area or sub-area level.

Previously, the sourced EP summary points data were not conducive for use in Touchstone Re. The workflow for converting the EP points data into a format friendly to the software was tedious. Now ILS investors or reinsurers can directly apply the EP summary losses into Touchstone Re and then set up aggregate program terms and include the curves for aggregate loss analyses in Touchstone Re.

  • The resultant ULF format will not include Historical or RDS event losses.
  • This feature does not support other perils such as Terrorism, Crop Hail, the Multi-Peril Crop Model event sets, Pandemic, Coastal Flood event sets, and any non-modeled regions and their corresponding perils.

AIR offers this feature only for clients who contract a legal license for program loss adjustment (PLA).

Public MethodSubmits a request for converting the event loss tables (ELT) in a text to a binary user loss file (ULF) for further analysis in Touchstone Re. You can also import the ULF data to a company in Touchstone Re. Additionally, you can save the user loss file in a currency of your choice.

ILS Clients and Retro Reinsurers receive the event-level losses from their respective clients. Now you can import a comma-separated value (CSV) file containing the event loss tables and convert the ELT data to the ULF format. Subsequently, you can attach the binary file containing ULF to a reinsurance program in Touchstone Re and then run an aggregate loss analysis. Enabling you to analyze the financial impact specific to events in a georesolution and lines of business.

Public MethodSubmits a request to compute a loss market share based on a company loss file (CLF) set.

A loss market share represents a given company’s share of industry-wide losses.
