The project is the primary organizational concept within Touchstone®. A project provides a workspace for the user and a container (analogous to folders in Windows Explorer) for the following items:

• Exposure data (one or more exposure views that can represent exposure sets in one or more databases)
• Analysis results
• Reinsurance programs
• Reports

A project is associated with one or more exposure databases and servers, one or more exposure sets and views, loss views, and associated analyses and reports. Depending on the user role and organizational configuration, Touchstone user interface users may have access to their projects and/or to other users' projects.
