The Touchstone Re API runs in the Visual Studio Integrated Development Environment (IDE). Visual Studio is a Microsoft product that simplifies basic development tasks, such as creating, debugging, and deploying applications.
AIR recommends that you use Visual Studio 2015 or later editions. AIR Worldwide tests the code and the sample applications using Visual Studio 2015.
If you do not already have the Visual Studio IDE, you can download and install the latest version of Visual Studio from https://visualstudio.microsoft.com/products/.
To follow the setup instructions in this guide, you must have installed the Touchstone Re application, and that you must be able to reach the Touchstone Re web service from your development machine. The web service address is https://[ServerHost]/FEP/AirServiceFacade.svc
