Models
Touchstone Re 2022 includes a number of model updates. Important model updates are:

Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States: The Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States has been separated from the Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for Canada so users can experience faster access to the significant loss updates in the U.S. model. Refer to Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States on the Client Portal for more information.

Verisk MPCI Model for the China: A new China Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (10K MPCI – Custom Policy Terms) event set for China MPCI Custom ILF. The new event set is available for clients who have an appropriate licensing agreement for the China MPCI Model. This tool provides more policy term flexibility to customize China crop and livestock policy deductibles by peril, crop/livestock, and province.

Verisk Crop Hail for the United States: We updated the U.S. region of the U.S. Crop Hail (M086) Model for Touchstone Re. This includes the addition of the latest catalogs for the Verisk U.S. Severe Thunderstorm Model (M22) and Verisk U.S. MPCI Model (M07) in M086. Futher, we have updated the industry exposure data (IED) and default premium rates. Note that there is no change in the IED and industry loss file (ILF) data for the Canadian region.
Enhancements
Touchstone Re 2022 includes the following new and enhanced features:

The company loss association (CLA) information is now included when you copy a company.

User interface improvements for the exposure grid, left navigation pane, and docking and viewing of multiple panes for quick comparison.

Ability to combine multiple company loss files (CLFs) into a single company loss file via the Reinsurance Data Import API. Previosuly, this feature was supported in the user interface only. With this enhancement, you can combine CLFs using our public API.

You can choose the flow of an inuring loss benefit in a reinsurance inuring chain.
- Support for zonal results when you run analyses with the Event Total analysis results output option. Now the aggregate loss results no longer generates a huge loss results tables when you save results view by 'Geography' for the program and portfolio loss analyses.

Obtain single and multiple programs templates and portfolio loss analysis templates using the Reinsurance Program and Portfolio Loss Analysis APIs.

Enhancements for uploading loss results to Analyze Re.

Note: The Touchstone (Re) database schema is the proprietary information and intellectual property of AIR Worldwide and will remain as AIR Databases. In the Touchstone (Re) Documentation, we will refer to the database schema as AIR Databases (for example, AIR Reference, AIR Project, etc.).
Database updates
We have made the following updates to the AIR Database schema to provide capabilities for the aforesaid features and enhancements:

The AIRUserSetting database was updated to support the enhancement for the China MPCI custom ILF. The existing tReinsuranceEventSets table now includes an unique sequential identifier (SID) for the China Multi-Peril Crop Insurance (10K MPCI – Custom Policy Terms) event set catalog; and the tReinsuranceEventSetCatalogXRef table includes a new reinsurance event set identifier to reference that newly created catalog.

The AIRIndustry database now includes a TblIndustry2021 table for storing the industry exposure such as the peril type, area scheme, currency, and line of business.

The AIRExposureRe database now includes the tCompanyCLASizes table to provide the ability to include the CLA information when you copy a company.

The existing tReinsuranceProgramSourceInure table in the AIRExposureRe database now includes a IsInuringNextProgramFlow flag to record the user's choice of inuring loss flow benefit for a reinsurance program.

We have made data updates, removed some tables, and made other schema updates to better support the existing workflows in Touchstone Re.
