Viewing the Activity Log


The activity log provides useful information about completed jobs. For example, the log for a Detailed Loss analysis includes the analysis type and name, system IDs, the name of the user who ran the analysis, when the analysis was submitted, started, and ended, target type, target name, etc.

  To view logs in Touchstone, you must first configure Notepad or WordPad as the default application for opening text files on your computer.

To view the activity log:

1.      In the Activity List, right-click the activity for which you want to view the log and then select View Log on the shortcut menu, or select the activity and click View Log on the ribbon. The log opens in Notepad or WordPad.

2.      If you want to do so, save the log.
