Adding Contracts

 

This topic describes how to add one or more contracts. Click here for information about the contract information that you add. A red asterisk * identifies required fields. After you add a contract, you add locations.

To add a contract:

1.      Open the project containing the exposure view to which you want to add a contract.

2.      In the navigation pane, under Project Data, click Exposure Views.

3.      Highlight the exposure view to which you want to add the contract.

4.      Open the contract list.

5.      Use either of the following methods to add a contract.

       From the Contract List pane

a.      In the highlighted green row, click in the Contract ID field, which will be marked by a red bounding box..

b.      Enter a unique contract ID. Then enter other contract information.

c.       Press Enter.

       From the Contract List pane

a.      On the grid toolbar, click Add . The Contract Details pane opens.

b.      In the Contract ID field, which is marked by a red bounding box, enter a unique contract ID. Then enter other contract information.

6.      To add contracts from a spreadsheet:

a.      In the spreadsheet containing the contracts, right-click the row or rows containing the contracts you want to copy and then click Copy on the shortcut menu.

b.      In Touchstone, right-click in the Contract List pane and then click Paste on the shortcut menu. The copied contracts appear at the bottom of the grid.

7.      When you have added all the contract and location information, click Save on the Contract ribbon. (Or, if you do not want to save the changes, click the blue Up arrow and then click No in response to the Save project prompt.
