Importing Event Sets from the ALERT Website

To import an event set from the ALERT website:

1. Download the event set executable from the ALERT website.

2. Make sure that download the executable to a location that Touchstone can access, such as a shared folder.

3. Run the executable to extract the event set (EVI) file.

4. In the Administration Console, select Event Set Management.

The Event Set Management pane appears.

5. On the grid toolbar, click Import

The Open dialog box appears.

6. Navigate to and select the EVI file that you want to add and then click Open.

When the application has installed the event set, it displays the "Successfully installed name.evi" message.

7. Click OK.

The event set appears in the event set list. When you configure a Detailed Loss Analysis, the imported event appears in the Event Set list in the Analysis Settings pane.

Loss analyses that you run against custom ALERT event sets are not CLF-compatible, even though the CLF Compatibility Note value is "Supports All Lines of Business".
