Modifying Augmentation Rules

Before you perform Data Quality Analysis Augmentation enhancement, you can create or modify Augmentation rule sets that enable you to augment or replace key location information with AIR's Industry Exposure Database values or with user-specified values. By augmenting missing or incomplete data for these attributes (geocode data, primary risk characteristics, secondary risk characteristics, replacement values, and limits), you can ensure the most accurate modeled losses.

•       Property-specific data rules: These rule sets enable you to decide when to augment existing exposure data with data from AIR's Property-specific database. The rules are available only to clients with access to AIR's Property-specific database, which is available under a separate license.

•       User-specified values rules: These rule sets enable you to decide when to replace existing exposure data with user-specified values.
