Scoring Results by Geography

This view displays overall risk and Data Quality Analysis scores by geography. You can group the results by country, area, sub area, postal code, or location. In the map view, the shade of a state indicates the amount of overall risk values in the state; darker shades of red indicate a higher overall risk. When you group by country, the Data Quality Uncertainty (DQU) and Overall Risk Values are aggregated from the other group-by results. For example, assume that the country has three states. Alaska has a DQU of 5, Alabama has a DQU of 45, and Arizona has a DQU of 10. In the Group Results By Country View, the DQU will be 60, the aggregate sum of the DQU in each country. When you view  scoring results by Geography / Location, the results are sorted by decreasing uncertainty with 'riskier' locations at the top of the list.

The following table describes each of the columns. Each description applies to the corresponding group.

X

X

X

Data quality score for the corresponding location. Values range from 0-100, with 100 representing the highest quality.

Data Quality Uncertainty

X

At the location-level, the results also include a data quality uncertainty value that reflects the amount added to the overall risk score due to deficiencies in the exposure data.

X

X

X

Quantifies the overall risk based on:

       Known address information

       Known risk characteristics

       Data quality

Loss costs and average annual losses for exposures in the same geographic locations

The higher the overall risk value, the higher the risk the data structure presents.
