Distribution of Building Replacement Value

The bar chart displays the percent of the total replacement value for locations in each of the dollar ranges, for example, within the $1 million to $10 million range. Moving the pointer over a bar displays the exact percent.

Exposure data for personal lines typically has a much different distribution than the exposure data for commercial lines. This view enables you to verify that the distribution of replacement values is appropriate for the business you are writing. It also highlights any outliers where values are particularly low or high relative to the majority of the rest of the values.

To display detailed results for this view, click Show in Window in the Building Replacement Value Distribution window. The following table describes each of the columns in the results grid.

Column	Description
Value Band, Coverage, and Code	The range of replacement values in the exposure data, the coverage (Buildings), and the code (A). • 0 • >-50K • 50K-100K • 100K-250K • 250K-500K • 1M-10M • 10M-50M • >50M
Location Count	Number of locations that fall in the corresponding dollar range
% Locations Count	Number of locations that fall in the corresponding dollar range, expressed as a percent of all the locations
$ Total Replacement Value	Total replacement value (all coverages combined) of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
% Total Replacement Value	Total replacement value (all coverages combined) per dollar range, expressed as a percent of the total replacement value.
$ Average Replacement Value	Average replacement value of locations that fall in the corresponding dollar range
$ Minimum Replacement Value	Lowest replacement value out of all the locations that fall in the corresponding dollar range
$ Maximum Replacement Value	Highest replacement value out of all the locations that fall in the corresponding dollar range
A - Building	Combined building replacement value of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
B - Other Structures	Combined other structures replacement value of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
C - Contents	Combined contents replacement value of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
D - Time Element	Combined time element replacement value of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
Total Premium	Combined premiums of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Limit A	Combined building limits of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Limit B	Combined other structures limits of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Limit C	Combined contents limits of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Limit D	Combined time element limits of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
Total Risk Count	Total number of risks in the corresponding dollar range. May differ from the Location Count value if any of your location records represent aggregate data.
$ Deductible A	Combined building deductibles of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Deductible B	Combined other structures deductibles of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Deductible C	Combined contents deductibles of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
$ Deductible D	Combined time element deductibles of all locations in the corresponding dollar range
