Distribution of Replacement Value by Occupancy |
The bar chart displays the percent of the total replacement value for
each of the 
occupancy
code categories. Each occupancy
category, such as Commercial, is divided in proportion to the types of
occupancies in the category, such as general commercial and retail trade.
Moving the pointer over a section of a bar displays the name of the occupancy
type in that particular category. Touchstone
dynamically displays the categories based on the composition of the exposure
data; categories that do not appear in the portfolio are not represented
in the chart.
This view enables you to validate occupancy based on the business you are writing. For example, you would see proportionately more residential occupancies for a personal lines account. It also highlights the percentage of unknown occupancies, which provides general information about the overall quality of the captured data. |
