Accumulating Values by AIR Event Footprints

If you select "Workers' Compensation" as the exposure type, you can only configure a Rings analysis and enable dynamic results. As a result, certain functions—Accumulate Values by zones, custom boundaries, event footprints, and hazard boundaries; Spatial Outputs; and Analysis Options (including Reinsurance)—will not be available.

You can accumulate property exposures based on or more AIR event footprints. You can select multiple historical and World Disaster Scenarios events.

The panel in the left part of the pane includes information about the peril associated with the event, the event name, the region, the upload date, and the event year.

When you select an event, a descriptive pane opens and displays the event name, the peril type of the event, and, for some events, accumulation ranges. For example, if you select the historical Charleston 1886 earthquake, the description pane includes "Earthquake" as the peril type of the event and the accumulation ranges for the PGA (peak ground acceleration) with Minimum and Maximum ranges for each range band. If you select a world scenarios event, such as the RDS UK Flood event, the description pane includes the peril type of the event ("Flood"); some RDS events, such as the RDS UK Flood event, do not include accumulation ranges.

The default damage percent is 100.00 for all range values. You should modify the damage percent for each value and each event that you select, based upon your own claims experience.

For some events, depending on the type of peril, the descriptive pane may enable you to add new accumulation ranges and remove accumulation ranges.

Managing accumulation ranges: For historical events, depending on the type of peril, the descriptive pane may enable you to add new accumulation ranges. To add a new accumulation range for an event, select the event and then click Add New Range . In the new row, enter the range data. To remove an accumulation range, select the row, scroll to the far right, and then click . To edit an accumulation range, select the event and then click in each cell where you want to make a change.

To hide the descriptive pane, click .
