AIR ImportExpress Reference |
When using AIR ImportExpress to import exposure data into Touchstone, it is important to be aware of the many possible information fields that you can supply for exposures. It is also important to note the minimum set of fields required for a successful import and the default values that AIR ImportExpress uses to fill in blank fields in your exposure data.
AIR ImportExpress assists with the import process by providing features that enable you to
• Automap column headings when using CSV (comma-separated values) import files.
• Perform value mapping, where you map user-defined terms in your import data to the corresponding valid Touchstone values.
Consequently, it is important to be aware of the column headings that AIR ImportExpress can automap, the corresponding acceptable CSV file column names, and the fields for which AIR ImportExpress can perform value mapping.
Avoid the following special characters in your import files, especially in address-related data, such as street, city, area, etc.: $, +, -, ., \. These special characters may cause geocoding, validation, and import errors.
AIR ImportExpress
rounds all imported monetary values (such as layer limits and replacement
values) to the nearest whole number if these values contain decimal places.
