Specifying Catastrophe Peril Analysis Settings

 

The Analysis Settings diagnostic enables you to configure catastrophe peril analysis settings, such as selecting the event set and perils.

To specify settings for a catastrophe peril analysis:

1.     Create a new catastrophe peril analysis.

2.     Under Loss Diagnostics, click Analysis Settings.

The Analysis Settings pane appears.

3.     Select the model: AIR Default, External Model, or User Model.

4.     Select the Catastrophe Peril Analysis check box.

5.     Select the desired region.

Touchstone filters the event sets based on the region.

6.     Select the desired event set.

7.     Select the desired perils.

8.     Optionally, apply an event set filter.

9.     Specify demand surge options.

10.  Specify financial settings.

11.  Optionally, specify flexibility settings to apply a loss modification factor and/or a baseline analysis.

12.  Optionally, select the Move Marine Craft Geocodes to Coast check box.

 

Administrators can create loss analysis templates to specify defaults for catastrophe peril analysis settings.
