Editing Reinsurance Programs and Treaties

You can edit the description of a reinsurance program, and modify information about the treaties in the program.

To edit a reinsurance program:

1.     Open a project.

2.     In the project's navigation pane, click Reinsurance.

3.     To edit a program description, click in the Description cell for the program whose description you want to modify, enter descriptive text, and then click Enter.

4.     To modify information about the treaties in a program:

a.     Click a program name.

The Treaty Information tab in the Reinsurance Program pane displays the list of treaties in the selected program.

b.     Optionally, in the Target Exposure field, select one or more exposure views to associate with the reinsurance program.

If the program includes a Surplus Share treaty, the Treaty ID field will be populated with IDs from the selected exposure views that include Surplus Share treaties; you will then be able to select an ID instead of typing it in. If you are creating any treaty other than a Surplus Share treaty, the Applies to LOB field will be populated with LOBs from any of the selected exposure views that include LOBs.

c.     Edit each treaty as needed. Example

5.     Fix any errors.

6.     When you have finished editing the treaties, click Save.

Or, if you do not want to save the changes, click Up to return to the Reinsurance Programs pane. The Save? message prompts you to save the changes, to not save the changes, or to cancel the Save operation.

The Save icon is not enabled while the yellow warning tab appears on a tab. You must fix any errors before you can save the treaty information.
