The Filter function enables you to narrow down the items in a list, such as databases, exposure views, analysis results, or zone sets. For example, you can filter the list of databases in the Data Source Manager to display only those databases that are registered. Or you can filter a results grid to display only those locations that meet certain location- or hazard-specific criteria, such as locations within a mile of the Gulf Coast that are less than 10 feet above sea level. For experienced users, Touchstone offers a way to define complex filters.
Some filter fields do not include a list from which you can select a value—click here for a table of valid values in filter fields.
It is important to understand that you use filtering to manipulate your view of the data; analyses run on the unfiltered set of data, not on the filtered set of data.
