Recommendations for installation

Minimum requirements for your Touchstone(Re) installation.

Note: While model files can be deployed locally on the Analysis Server (compute node), we recommend that you use a model share for cost savings and efficiency.

Note:
  • For small installations, leave some space on the compute nodes for the operating system.
  • If you wish to make adjustments for your particular installation, contact the Technical Services Group.
1 For smaller use cases like single peril or a smaller portfolio (< 1 million locations), a 1:8 CORE:RAM ratio is still viable to run Touchstone. For Touchstone Re configurations a 1:8 CORE:RAM ratio is sufficient.
2 Space requirements may change based on the number of cores in the compute node.
3 If models are deployed locally, storage requirements are directly related to licensed models.
