Issue ID | 334 |
Summary | Losses for certain historical events in the Verisk Earthquake Model for the United States may be misstated. |
Description | Due to an issue in the loss code, certain historical events which should be using mean damage functions may actually take into account intra-event uncertainty. This can cause losses to be incorrectly calculated for these specific events and may also result in variability in ground up losses for these events in certain circumstances. The historical events where this can occur are Event ID's: 30, 39, 43, 54, 56, 71, 78, 92, 94, 95, 97, 100, 103, 106, 109, 118. |
