Known Issue 127

Under-recovered inuring loss when inuring program has a source program that has no loss for a given event.

Issue ID 127
Summary Under-recovered inuring loss when inuring program has a source program that has no loss for a given event.
Description In a series inuring structure in which the intermediate inuring program has a source program, the inuring benefit from the upstream (or child) program(s) is lost when the source program, and hence intermediate inuring program, has no loss for a given event. This does not occur if the intermediate inuring program uses any aggregate exposure or company loss set directly (as opposed to Source Program).
