Known Issue 13
Net Retained Losses are calculated differently between CATRADER and Touchstone Re.
Issue ID | 13 |
Summary | Net Retained Losses are calculated differently between CATRADER and Touchstone Re. |
Description | Touchstone Re considers all company loss and subtracts reinsurance contract loss to calculate net retained losses. In CATRADER only company loss in the region defined in the Applies to Area of the program is considered in calculating Net Retained loss. For example, if a company has exposure in all US States but the reinsurance program is defined in the Applies to Area as covering only the northeast, Touchstone Re will consider losses outside of the northeast as contributing to Net Retained loss while CATRADER does not. |
