Viewing the Activity Log |
The Activity Monitor's Activity logs provide useful information about completed jobs. In Touchstone 5.0 and later, while all activities include a Detailed Log, a Summary Log is available for Detailed Loss analyses and Import activities. The Detailed Log includes a high-level summary and a more detailed Process Details section. The Summary Log includes only the high-level summary.
The information in the log varies by the type and status of an activity. For example, the log for a successfully completed Detailed Loss Analysis contains the following sections:
• Analysis Header Info: Analysis type and name, template name, system IDs, name of the user who ran the analysis, and when the analysis was submitted and started.
• Error /Warning Summary: May contain information even when a loss analysis completes successfully.
• Exposures Modelled: The percentage of total replacement value (TRV) of the modeled locations for a given loss analysis, and the percentage of modeled locations. This field is blank for Non Catastrophe Peril Analyses.
• System Info: System version, SQL Server Name, and HPC head node.
• Analysis Target Info: Target type and name, and analysis statistics.
• Event Set Options: Event set name, type, and filter, Demand Surge settings, perils, peril options, and models.
• Financial Model Options: Settings for correlation, disaggregation, average properties, invalid construction/occupancy pairs, application of residential location terms, and intra- and inter-policy correlation factors.
• Reinsurance Options: Program name, order of application of facultative insurance, count of facultative and treaty reinsurance.
• Custom Model Options
• Output Options: Loss perspectives, "Save By" settings, Loss Details, and Auto Export of CLFs.
• Analysis Management Options: Minimum and maximum cores used, scheduling and priority information, processing resources, results server and database, the results currency used and the name of the results currency set, whether to move marine craft geocodes, and commodity prices.
• Flexibility Options
• Terrorism Options
• Physical Properties Info

To view an activity log:
1. In the grid, right-click the activity for which you want to view the log, and then, depending on the selected activity, select View Detailed Log or View Summary Log on the shortcut menu.
Clicking View Log on the ribbon, opens the Detailed Log for all activities except for a successfully completed Detailed Loss Analysis where the Summary Log is opened. The log opens in Notepad or WordPad.
2. If you want to do so, save the log.
