HPC Node Group Association

 

System administrators install and configure Microsoft® HPC components, including the nodes, when they install Touchstone. For more information, refer to the documents Touchstone Installation & Upgrade Guide and Advanced Touchstone Configuration available on AIR's Client Portal.

Configure HPC resources in the HPC Node Group Association pane. For your changes to take effect, the system will prompt you to restart both the IIS Application Services component and the Touchstone client.

Description

Common buttons

Use these buttons (when applicable) and the parameters below to configure HPC resources.

Click to add a new configuration. Required fields are bounded in red.

Business Unit

Enables you to select one or more business units to associate with the node group.

Role

Enables you to select one or more roles to associate with the node group.

Activity Type

Enables you to select one or more activity types to associate with the node group. Click in the Activity Type cell and then select one or more activity types from the Activity Type list.

Minimum/Maximum Cores

Enter the minimum and maximum cores for the node group to use. The system administrator sets the number of available cores.

Node Group

Enables you to select a node to include in the node group. Click in the Node Group cell and then select a group from the Node Group list.
