Configuring and Running a Clash Analysis

You perform a Clash Analysis on a single contract in Underwriting Contract Mode.

To perform a Clash Analysis:

1.     In Underwriting Contract Mode, add or open a contract.

2.     In the Contract Summary Dashboard, select Clash.

If Touchstone has not yet run a Clash Analysis on this contract, the New Clash Analysis pane appears. Alternately, if Touchstone has already performed a Clash Analysis on this contract, the results of the most recent Clash Analysis appear; you can then click Analysis Options to configure a new Clash Analysis for this contract.

3.     In the New Clash Analysis pane, in the Template list, select the template that you want to use.

Touchstone includes a default Clash template. In addition, administrators can create and manage Clash templates.

4.     In the Clash Analysis Settings, select the options that you want to use and configure the corresponding settings.

Touchstone uses the criteria to identify underwriting clash.

5.     Click Analysis Management to configure analysis-specific functions.

6.     Click Run.

Touchstone adds the analysis to the Activity Monitor queue for processing when the required system resources are available.

7.     View the analysis results.
