Defining Analysis Filters

The Analysis Filters settings enable you to narrow the breadth of the exposure data being analyzed. For example, you can analyze only those locations in your portfolio that have an overall risk score greater than a specific value, which effectively omits locations with lower replacement values and hazards. In addition, you can filter the exposure data by the Data Quality score, which focuses on the completeness of information about primary risk characteristics, such as construction and height, and about addresses. The analysis results will include only those exposures that meet all the filter criteria.

The Data Quality Analysis Overall Risk and Data Quality filters apply only to Validation and Augmentation analyses, not to Benchmark analyses. In addition, they apply only to United States locations.

To define analysis filters:

1.     To analyze locations with an overall risk score greater than, less than, or equal to a specific score, select the Overall Risk check box, select the desired mathematical operator from the list, and then enter a risk score value in the text box.

Overall risk scores range from 0-100, with 100 indicating the highest risk.

2.     To analyze locations with a data quality score greater than, less than, or equal to a specific score, select the Data Quality check box, select the desired mathematical operator from the list, and then enter a data quality score value in the text box.

Data quality scores range from 0-100, with 100 indicating the best quality.

3.     To analyze locations with a total replacement value greater than, less than, or equal to a specific monetary amount, select the Total Replacement Value check box, select the desired mathematical operator from the list, and then enter a total replacement value in the text box.
