Associating Results to a Project

You can have loss results that are not associated with an exposure database or a project when:

You used AIR ExportExpress to copy loss results or loss groups to a new database, creating a "portable loss results” database.

You deleted a project and did not want to delete the project's results; you saved the results in an offline database.

When loss results are no longer associated with a project, you cannot view, perform analyses on, or export the results. If you need to perform these tasks, you must associate the results to a project.

To associate loss results from a database to a new or existing project:

1.     Launch Touchstone.

2.     Access the Data Source Manager.

3.     In the grid, select the database containing the results you want to associate to a project.

4.     On the ribbon, click Associate Results to Project.

The Associate Loss Results to Project dialog box displays a list of results sets on the selected database that are not currently associated with a project.

5.     Select one or more sets of loss results, and then click Next.

6.     To select an existing project, select Use an existing project and then select the project to use.

7.     To create and use a new project, select Create a new project and then enter a name for the new project in the Project Name field. In the Project Currency field, select the currency and exchange rate to apply to the project. The project currency settings override the business unit currency settings.

8.     Click Submit.
