Deleting Projects |
You can delete projects that you no longer need.
Items that you do not select for deletion remain accessible. Since results and exposure views are always associated with projects, you may want to save them in an offline database when you remove the associated project. Since exposure sets may be associated with other projects and exposure views, Touchstone flags any exposure view that refers to deleted exposure sets so that you are aware that the exposure view is not current with the expected data. |
To delete projects:
1. Navigate to the Home page.
2. In the Projects pane, select the project or projects to delete.
Ensure that you do not click the project name, since clicking the project name opens the project.
3. Click Delete .
A confirmation dialog box appears.
4. Select the projects and any project items (or artifacts) to delete.
For example, you can choose to delete all results, exposure views, exposure sets, and reinsurance programs associated with the projects.
If you selected multiple projects, the options you select apply for all of the projects.
You must delete the exposure views associated with the project.
5. Click Delete.
The application deletes the projects and artifacts you selected. Although a deleted project cannot be undeleted, it remains in the database until a database administrator purges it.
