Detaching a Database

You must unregister a database before you detach it.

 

If you detach a database, you can delete the log files for the results databases. Touchstone creates new, blank log files when you re-attach a detached database.

To detach a database:

1.     Launch Touchstone.

2.     Access the Data Source Manager.

3.     Select the database that you want to detach.

A check mark appears in the first column for the selected database.

4.     Click Detach.

5.     Click Reload to refresh the list.
