Deleting Contracts

When you delete contracts, you remove them from the Contract List and from the associated databases. In addition, when you delete any contracts against which you ran a Contract Loss analysis, you also delete the Contract Loss analysis results.

To delete one or more contracts in Portfolio Mode:

1.     Open the Contract List.

2.     In the Contract List grid, select the contract or contracts to delete.

Click in the first column to select a contract without opening it.

3.     Click Delete .

a.     If you selected one contract, the Selected Contract data will be removed dialog box displays the insured name and contract ID. If you previously ran a Contract Loss analysis against the contract, the dialog box also lists the artifacts (Detailed Loss Results) that will be deleted.

b.     If you selected multiple contracts, the Remove n Contract(s) and associated artifacts? dialog box does not list all the artifacts associated with the contracts, since the contracts may include many artifacts. However, the dialog box does show the number of loss results that will be deleted for each contract.

4.     Click Delete.

Touchstone deletes the contracts and artifacts.
