Selecting EDM Exposure Databases

AIR ImportExpress enables you to import policy data that is in RMS's EDM exposure databases. The Source Server field identifies the instance of the SQL Server to which you are currently connected. Before selecting the source EDM database, make sure that this SQL instance contains the EDM-formatted data that you want to import.

To select import files:

1.     On the global menu bar, click Import > Exposure > EDM Format.

2.     In the Exposure Database Formats and Filters area of the Import & Mapping Data tab, select the source database in the Source Database list.

The Portfolios, Region/Country, and Perils options default to "All."

3.     In the Portfolios list, leave the default "All" or select specific portfolios.

4.     In the Region/Country list, leave the default "All", select specific regions or countries, or select Modeled Countries only.

5.     In the Perils list, leave the default "All" or select specific perils.

6.     Specify the destination database and (optional) exposure view or exposure view suffix for the data to import.
