Using Touchstone online Help
You can access the top-level or context-sensitive Touchstone online help from within the application or from the Client Portal. You can then search for content, bookmark pages, and generate output to other formats.

  Use the detailed loss analysis module to run a detailed loss analysis on the same exposure data that you imported for catastrophe modeling.

  A Loss Group analysis enables you to combine two or more sets of loss results from different analyses into a single loss view, or group, which is then available for use as input to subsequent processes or analyses.

      The analysis options include selecting two or more sets of loss results, specifying a set of loss results as the baseline, and specifying how to filter the results.

    - Working with loss comparative analysis results
      The information in the results grid is similar to the information in the results grid for a detailed loss analysis. The main difference is that the results grid for a loss comparative analysis includes a row for each set of analysis results being compared.

      The Geo Level table is available only when you configure a loss comparative analysis to filter the results by geography and when at least one set of loss results included in the analysis was saved at the location, postal, sub area, or area level.

Creating a new loss comparative analysis

You perform this analysis to compare results from detailed loss analyses.

Procedure

To perform a loss comparative analysis:

Create a project or open an existing project.
In the navigation pane, select Results.
In the Results grid, highlight one or more analyses and then, under Run Analysis, select Loss Comparative Analysis.

The New Loss Comparative Analysis pane appears.
Specify the Loss Comparative analysis options.
Specify analysis management settings.
In the Analysis Name field, leave the default name, which includes the type of analysis, or enter a unique alphanumeric identifier.
Click Run.

If necessary, you can resubmitt the job from the Activity Monitor.

Touchstone adds the analysis to the Activity Monitor queue for processing when the required system resources are available and as soon as any specified scheduling and priority conditions are satisfied.
With the Activity Monitor open, view the analysis results.
