Edit job schedule and priority
When an activity status is "Scheduled" or "Queued", you can edit it in the Activity Monitor.
Procedure
- Open the Activity Monitor.

In the grid, right-click the activity that you want to edit and then select Edit
, or click
(Edit Activity) on the ribbon.
The Activity Scheduling and Priority dialog box appears. -
Select the priority. Touchstone supports the
following priorities for activities:
- Low: A job that is not critical and could be run later than other, more
urgent jobs. Touchstone initiates low priority
jobs in the order in which they are submitted using the following criteria:
- If and when sufficient capacity is available
- If and when there are no normal, high, or top priority jobs waiting
- If the job has been scheduled to run immediately or when the current date and time is after the scheduled date and time of a scheduled job
- Normal: (Default) A job that is not critical but should run at the next
available opportunity. Touchstone initiates
normal priority jobs in the order in which they are submitted using the following criteria:
- If and when sufficient capacity is available
- If and when there are no high or top priority jobs waiting
- If the job has been scheduled to run immediately or when the current date and time is after the scheduled date and time of a scheduled job
- High: A critical job that must be initiated as soon as possible. Touchstone initiates high priority jobs in the order
in which they are submitted using the following criteria:
- If and when sufficient capacity is available
- If and when there are no top priority jobs waiting
- If the job has been scheduled to run immediately or when the current date and time is after the scheduled date and time of a scheduled job
- High Priority: A highly critical that must take highest priority. Touchstone initiates top priority jobs in the order
in which they are submitted using the following criteria:
- If and when sufficient capacity is available
- If the job has been scheduled to run immediately or when the current date and time
is after the scheduled date and time of a scheduled jobNote: Only system administrators, who have the appropriate role permissions, can assign "Top Priority" to a job.
- Low: A job that is not critical and could be run later than other, more
urgent jobs. Touchstone initiates low priority
jobs in the order in which they are submitted using the following criteria:

Select one of the following scheduling options:
- Schedule On: Select the date and time after which you want the activity to start.
- Queue Now: For an activity that was previously scheduled, you can remove the scheduled start date and time and indicate that Touchstone should queue the activity immediately and that the job should start as soon as possible.

Click OK.
Touchstone refreshes the activity list to display the updated priority and scheduling information for the activity that you have edited.
