New Detailed Loss Analysis pane

Use the New Detailed Loss Analysis pane to configure and run a probabilistic detailed loss analysis on one or more exposure views or contracts in your project.

Project Data > Exposure Views > {Select an Exposure View} > Run Analysis: Detailed Loss > New Detailed Loss Analysis pane

Project Data > Exposure Views > {Open an Exposure View} > Contract List > {Select a Contract} > Run Analysis: Contract Loss > New Detailed Loss Analysis pane

Field Description
Analysis Target Select the target or targets for this analysis. To select multiple targets to run simultaneously in separate analyses, click the down arrow and then select the analysis targets (exposure views or contracts) to include in the analysis.
Apply Template

Select the analysis template to use.

The Florida Rate Filing Analysis Template uses analysis settings required by the Florida Office of Insurance Regulation (FLOIR).

Non-Geocoded Exposures Displays the percent of exposure data that has not been geocoded. The percent is based on location count. If the percent is high, you may want to fix your exposure data before running an analysis; this is because Touchstone does not generate results for non-geocoded locations.
Loss Diagnostics The diagnostics enable you to specify analysis, reinsurance, output, and analysis management settings.
Analysis Name Enter a name for the analysis.
  • If the analysis target is a single exposure view or contract, you can leave the default, which is the exposure view name or the contract ID and the type of analysis, or you can enter a unique alphanumeric identifier.
  • If the analysis target includes multiple exposure views or contracts, you cannot change the default name, which is Auto name ('n' items).
  • When the analysis target is a single exposure view or contract, entering some combination of the exposure view name or the contract ID along with the analysis type enables you to find result sets quickly in the Activity Monitor.
Analysis Prefix (Optional) Enter a prefix to distinguish between analysis results when you run an analysis with multiple targets. Touchstone generates separate analysis results for each analysis target.
