Zone Set Manager 5.1 and Later

When you click Manage Zone Sets in the Step 2 - Configure pane for a Zonal Accumulation, the Zone Set Manager opens and displays the Zone Sets pane, which lists the available zone sets. To open a zone set, click the name; the Zone Set Manager opens the Zones pane, which lists the zones in the zone set. Zone sets are XML files.

You cannot duplicate, rename, and then modify AIR-provided zones, such as the RDS zones. You also cannot delete AIR-provided zone sets. You can, however, duplicate, rename, and delete any zones that you have created.

You can perform various tasks based on whether you are in the Zone Sets pane or the Zones pane:

Remove a zone set or zone record: Select the item that you want to remove, click Remove , and then click Yes in response to the Delete message.

Deleting a custom zone set deletes the zone set and any custom zones that have been added to it.

Save changes to a zone set or zone record: The Save button becomes available after you make certain changes, such as changing a zone definition.

Add a zone set: Select the "Add" row (the first row in the grid), enter a name for the new zone set, enter information in the Description column, and then click Enter. Click the zone set name and then add zones to the zone set.

Add a zone: Click the name of the zone set to which you want to add one or more zones. When the Zones pane appears, click Add. The Zone Configurator opens. Configure the new zone. The maximum number of zones in a zone set is 100,000.

Edit a zone record: Select the item that you want to edit and click Edit . The Zone Editor opens where you can modify the filter definition, the peril, and the damage percent for the zone.

You cannot edit AIR-provided zones, such as the RDS zones.

Duplicate a zone set: Select the zone set that you want to duplicate, click Duplicate , and then edit the name of the copied zone set and, optionally, the description. The copied zone set includes all the records for the source zone set. This is useful if you want to do stress testing by running the same zones with different damage percents.

Copy and paste a zone record: Select the zone record that you want to copy to the Clipboard, click Copy , and then click Paste .

Export a zone set: Select the zone set that you want to export and then click Export Zone Set. In the Save As dialog box, browse to a shared network folder, such as a TEMP folder, or enter the UNC path to the new zone set file (UNC path example), enter a file name for the zone set, and then click Save.

Import a zone set: Click Import Zone Set , navigate to the location of the zone set that you want to import, enter all the zone set information, and then click Import.

You can export AIR-provided zone sets, but you cannot import them.

Filter the Zone Sets grid: You can filter the list of zone sets.
