Working with Hazard Analysis Results

To view Hazard Analysis results:

1.     In Portfolio Mode, access the results grid for your project.

In Underwriting Contract Mode, open the contract for which you want to view the most recent Hazard Analysis results.

2.     In Portfolio Mode, select the analysis for which you want to view the results after making sure that the activity status is "Completed."

3.     Click the hyperlinked name of the analysis.

In the Underwriting Contract Mode Contract Summary Dashboard, click Hazard.

4.     In the Hazard Results Table, to show or hide results for any of the included hazard profiles, select or clear the corresponding profile check boxes above the table. Example

Touchstone currently supports the profiles produced by a Hazard Analysis only for locations in the United States.

5.     To view a map of the results, click the Show/Hide Content Items icon in the sidebar and then select the Hazard Results Map view option.

Touchstone displays the map. The map tools available to you depend on the Touchstone version that you are using. The Map Tools topic provides information about using map tools in 5.0 and earlier versions, while the Map Tools 5.1 and Later topic provides information about using map tools in 5.1 and later.

6.     To view event intensity information, click the Show/Hide Content Items icon in the sidebar and then select the Hazard Results Intensity option.

Touchstone displays the Hazard Results Intensity grid. The grid provides visibility into the data behind the AIR models by displaying the underlying hazard data that Touchstone uses to calculate loss.

The Event Intensities feature requires a separate license.

Touchstone stores event intensity data in the tRRRR_HAZ_Intensity table within the AIRResult database. For more information about the Touchstone databases, see the Touchstone Database Reference Guide in the Touchstone Developer Zone on AIR's Client Portal.
