API enhancements

Added support for detailed loss analysis, the ALERT event set, Touchstone Model Builder, and Inland Flood hazard analysis.

Scope

Added API functionality to match updates available in the software application(s).

Notes

For more information related to the API methods, refer to the API Reference documentation on the Client Portal.

Touchstone-specific updates

This release includes a number of API enhancements, including:

  • New method for detailed loss analysis: We implemented a new method that lets you submit detailed loss analyses which comply with Florida rate filing requirements. This API corresponds to the predefined Florida rate filing template which defines your detailed loss analysis in the user interface. The API automatically defaults to the selection of specific detailed loss analysis options per Florida rate filing requirements, and allows users to have some flexibility selecting a limited number of additional analysis management options.
  • Access to ALERT event set: You can download the ALERT event set from the Verisk ALERT website and import it into Touchstone or Touchstone Re.
  • Support for average hazard functionality in Touchstone Model Builder: We have introduced two new enums; AverageHazardLevel and AverageHazardUserID to support the average hazard use case in Model Builder. These enums enable average hazard calculations for exposures at specified aggregate resolutions, improving risk assessment capabilities.
  • Enhancements to inland flood hazard analysis: We have enhanced the inland flood hazard analysis by introducing three new parameters; IDebrisFlow, IFloodDuration, and IFloodVelocity. These parameters are explicitly modeled by events and locations, enabling a more precise assessment of the impact of the flood velocity, debris flow, and flood duration from the inland flood.

Touchstone Re-specific updates
