Verisk is pleased to announce the release of TouchstoneTouchstone Re 2025 (13.0). This release includes both model and software updates.

Note: This is the last full release of Touchstone and Touchstone Re. In June 2026, we plan to release our new Verisk Synergy Studio platform to replace both software products; the current products will continue to be supported. Reach out to your Verisk representative for more information.

Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States The Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States has been updated to incorporate new data, and research innovations as well as framework enhancements and adjustments to the interpretation of observational data. This includes updates to the hazard and vulnerability modules as well as changes to the stochastic event set definitions. [Read more]
Verisk MPCI Model for the United States Significant new model features and improvements as well as updates to model premiums and policies. [Read more]
Verisk MPCI Model for India Significant new features and model improvements. In addition, user interface updates improve client ability to price India MPCI risk, and to analyze risk as part of a portfolio. [Read more]
Verisk Bushfire Model for Australia Major update introduces a new, robust methodology of modeling wildfire and incorporates recent data and science to provide clients with vastly improved information for analysis. [Read more]
Verisk Inland Flood Model for the UK and the Republic of Ireland The existing Great Britain domain is extended to the domains of Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. We also updated vintage of data to create a state-of-the-art flood model to include precipitation and river streamflow data sets, digital terrain model (DTM) and precipitation modeling. [Read more]
Verisk Earthquake Model for Mexico Major update that includes additional perils, new data, additional events, and new modeling processes. [Read more]
Verisk Typhoon Model for South Korea Comprehensive model update that includes an additional peril, new data, and new modeling processes. [Read more]
Verisk Inland Flood Model for Italy Added support for enhanced demand surge factors in the Verisk Inland Flood Model for Italy. [Read more]
Touchstone Re Industry Exposure and Industry Loss File (ILF) This release includes updates to the following models as indicated in the table below. To support updates made to the industry exposure databases in conjunction with model updates for Australia (earthquake), Mexico (earthquake), and Indonesia (flood) Industry Loss Files have been updated for other supported perils in those countries to reflect the updated industry exposure. U.S. hurricane historical event updates The U.S. historical event catalog has been updated to include two new historical events: Ida 2021 (event ID 123) and Ian 2022 (event ID 124). [Read more]
Previous model version (PMV) support and archive event set Previous model version (PMV) support in Touchstoneallows users continued access to the previous version of a model while familiarizing themselves with the enhanced version of that same model. The archive events in Touchstone Re allow users to run loss analyses with the same model versions in the event sets that were current in the 2024 (v12.0) release. [Read more]
Disaggregation updates Disaggregation updates in this release reflect changes to supporting data such as zip and postal codes, various industry exposure databases, and support for a new model. [Read more]

Software enhancements

Feature Details
Touchstone Model Builder enhancements Added support for fourth peril. Users can now create custom models using four sub-perils. For example, users can create an earthquake model using four sub-perils such as Shake (ES), Liquefaction (LQ), Fire Following (FF) and Tsunami (TS), along with support for location-level factors, location modifiers, and damage functions. SBS updates To use this enhancement in Touchstone 2025 (13.0), users must be on version 52.3 or later in Sequel Impact and must have deployed the updated integration logic deployed in their instance of SBS Impact. [Read more].
Touchstone Re ALERT performance The time taken to run a Touchstone Re portfolio analysis against an ALERT event set has been significantly improved in this release. [Read more].
User interface enhancements In every release we make a number of adjustments to accommodate model updates and software improvements. [Read more].
