Mapping LOB Values
Mapping LOB values.
There are several places in Touchstone where you can map unrecognized user line of business (LOB) values to valid Touchstone LOB values:
-
During export of exposure data to UNICEDE 2 files.
-
During export of loss results to company loss files (CLFs).
Touchstone maps a user LOB value to an
Industry/UNICEDE LOB value
only if the Industry/UNICEDE
LOB value is valid for the selected country. For example, you cannot map a user
LOB value for Japan to Mobile Home
—if you try to copy and paste
Mobile Home
into a row where Japan is the country, nothing will change.
There are several methods for mapping LOB values after you navigate to an LOB Mapping tab.
-
Map a single unrecognized user LOB value to an industry or UNICEDE LOB value.
-
Copy and paste an LOB value.
-
Copy and paste a single LOB value into multiple LOB cells.
-
Copy and past LOB values from a spreadsheet into Touchstone.
