New Hazard Analysis Pane
The New Hazard Analysis pane enables you to configure and run a Hazard Analysis on one or more exposure views or on a single contract in your project. These analyses enable you to identify the relevant catastrophe hazards for locations in your exposure data.
The New Hazard Analysis pane contains the following fields, areas, and buttons:
Field |
Description |
---|---|
Analysis Target |
Specifies the target or targets for the analysis. To select multiple analysis targets, click the down arrow and select the analysis targets that you want to use. Note:
This field is applicable only to Portfolio Mode. |
Template |
Specifies the analysis template that you want to use for this analysis. |
Percent of Non-Geocoded Exposure |
Displays the percent of exposure data that has not been geocoded. The percent is based on location count. If the percent of non-geocoded data is high, you may want to fix your exposure data before running an analysis. Note:
This field is applicable only to Portfolio Mode. |
Hazard Profiles |
Specifies the following hazard profile settings for this analysis: Select the check box next to each profile that you want to include in this analysis and then click each profile that you selected and configure the corresponding profile options. Clear the check box next to each profile that you do not want to include in this analysis. |
Exposure Diagnostics |
Specifies the exposure attribute settings that identify which exposure data (return values) to include in this analysis. To apply exposure attribute profile options, select the Exposure Attributes check box and then configure the corresponding profile options. If you do not want to apply exposure attribute settings, clear the Exposure Attributes check box. |
Event Intensities |
Specifies the event intensities that you want to include in this analysis. To include event intensity data, select the Event Intensities check box and then configure each setting (event set, disaggregation, average properties, event set filter, profile-specific intensity settings). If you do not want to include event intensity data, clear the Event Intensities check box. |
Analysis Management |
Specifies how Touchstone should run this analysis. Click Analysis Management and then configure the corresponding analysis management settings. |
Analysis Prefix |
Enter a prefix to distinguish between analysis results when you run an analysis with multiple targets. The field appears only when you have selected multiple analysis targets. |
Analysis Name |
Specifies the name that you want to assign to this analysis. Leave the default name, which includes the exposure view name or the contract ID and the type of analysis, or enter a unique alphanumeric identifier for this analysis. Note:
This field is applicable only to Portfolio Mode. |
Run |
Runs this analysis using the settings that you have specified. |
