Copying and Pasting a Reinsurance Treaty

You can copy a treaty, with all its attributes, and then paste it into another reinsurance program.

Procedure

To copy and paste a treaty:

  1. Open a project.
  2. In the project's navigation pane, click Reinsurance.
  3. In the Reinsurance Programs pane, open the reinsurance program containing the treaty that you want to copy.
  4. In the Reinsurance Program pane, highlight the treaty that you want to copy.
  5. Click Copy to copy the treaty to the Clipboard.
  6. If the target reinsurance program into which you want to copy the treaty is in the same project, open it:
    1. If the target program is not in the current project, open the project containing the target program for the copied treaty.
    2. In the project's navigation pane, click Reinsurance and open the reinsurance program into which you want to paste the copied treaty.
  7. Paste .

    The copied treaty appears in the list of treaties.

Next Steps

Since treaty IDs must be unique, you may need to modify the ID of the copied treaty if the program already contains a treaty with the same ID.
