Using Touchstone online Help
You can access the top-level or context-sensitive Touchstone online help from within the application or from the Client Portal. You can then search for content, bookmark pages, and generate output to other formats.
Import data from external sources

Event set management

Your Touchstone Re installation includes event set files for each peril and region licensed by your company.

Admin > Administration Console > Event Set Management

The event list may include real-time event sets (EVI files) downloaded from the Verisk ALERT website. The Event Set Management function enables all users to view event set details and to add custom event sets. Only system administrators and business unit administrations can edit and delete custom event sets.

Note: Touchstone supports international deterministic terrorism event sets. You can add them from the Event Set Management pane or by exporting geospatial analysis ring results to a Ring to Terrorism event set.

Note: You cannot modif y or delete AIR event sets. You can only delete user-created event sets and modify descriptive details about user-created event sets (event set name, event set description, title, and comments).


Parameters and Buttons	Description
Common buttons	Use these buttons (when applicable) to view, add, edit, import, and delete event sets.
Event Set Name	The name of the event set.
Type	The type of the event set, including: Historical, IndustryLoss, and RDS (Lloyd's® Realistic Disaster Scenarios). If you created custom models, the name of the type begins with "Custom".
Author	The author of the event set.
Date Created	The date on which the event set was created.
