Assign role for each user

In Touchstone and Touchstone Re, each user is assigned a role that defines the user's level of access.

Administration Console > User Administration > User Group Management

Note: Only a system administrator can add, modify, and delete users.
  • Standard user: This user has access to basic functionality but does not have access to certain global settings.
  • Business unit administrator: This user is responsible for assigning users to business units and modifying default values per business unit. Has the same application-level access as a standard user with additional permissions, such as the ability to set global defaults. Multiple users can be business unit administrators. The business unit administrator acts as the system administrator but only for the applicable business units.
  • System administrator: This user is responsible for adding users and setting up business units, and has all permissions.
