Admin boundaries
Define administrative boundaries for use in Touchstone.
Note: A Loss Analysis license is required.
Parameters and buttons | Description |

Common buttons | Use these buttons (when applicable) and the parameters below to create and modify administrative boundaries. |
Name | Name of the administrative boundary. |
Description | Brief description of the administrative boundary |
Regions | In the list, click ![]() |
Country | In the list, select the check box next to the country or countries to include in the boundary you are defining. If the list of countries is long, in the text box above the list start typing the name of the country you want to select. |
Columns for administrative boundaries (e.g. state, province, CRESTA, municipality, county) | To select an administrative boundary associated with the selected country, click the country name and then select items from the list that populates the next column. The column label (boundary identifier, such as "State") depends on the selected country. Continue viewing and selecting items to populate the next column with additional administrative boundaries (e.g. FSA code, FSALDU code, municipality, postal code, protraction, block). |
Preview | Select the check box next to an item to add the item to the Preview pane. |
Export | Allows you to export administrative boundaries from a Touchstone environment to a different
environment or to a local path. If you created a new boundary, click In the list of admin
boundaries, highlight the boundaries that you want to export and then click

Import | Allows you to import administrative boundaries into Touchstone. Click ![]() ![]() |
