Configuring a new geospatial analysis

Configuring the analysis is the second step in the process.

In the New Geospatial Analysis pane, after selecting the analysis target or targets and choosing the exposure and analysis type, click Step 2 - Configure.

You can search for items by typing characters or words in the Search field.

For an event accumulation, typing Andrew in the Search field on the Accumulate tab retrieves "Andrew 1992" and "Andrew 1992 GoM". (The Search field appears only for zonal and event accumulation types.)

For an event accumulation only, you can use the Filter option to filter items by type, peril, and region. Click Reset to restore the default filters.

Selecting World Scenarios (Type), Storm Surge (Peril), and then North America (Region) lists three US Storm Surge items.
Important: Peril codes are different in Geospatial analysis than they are in Detailed Loss analysis. We do not support the new sub-peril set code for the Verisk Severe Thunderstorm Model for the United States, which is 11534336. Instead, we are still using the old sub-peril code, which is 2. This mismatch creates an issue when a user tries to join detailed loss results with geospatial analysis accumulation output.

The following table summarizes the configuration options based on your choices in Step 1. The tab columns describes the tabs for each specified exposure and analysis type.
