Configuring a CLA for transfer of analysis results

Company Loss Association (CLA) allows you to perform change management using all financial perspectives.

You configure a CLA for transfer of analysis results to Touchstone Re when you configure the output options for a new detailed loss analysis.

Important:

CLF export is not supported in this release via the user interface or the Public API.

If the event set selected in the Analysis Settings pane is a European model, you can create a European Severe Thunderstorm CLA. If the event set is a US AP or World AP event set, you cannot create a Severe Thunderstorm CLA.

Procedure

To configure a CLA for transfer of analysis results:

  1. Select the Output Options pane for the new detailed loss analysis.
  2. Select Line of Business and then select Sub Area or Postcode in the Geography list.
  3. In the CLF Compatibility Note area, select Export Analysis and then click Configure Export ....

    The Export Company Loss File (CLF)/Associate Loss File window opens.

  4. On the Options tab, select the Associate Loss to Company check box and then enter the information needed to associate the loss to a company in your business unit.
  5. Select the LOB Mapping tab and then map the LOBs as needed.
  6. Click Apply and then click Done.

    After you run the analysis in Touchstone, you can verify, in Touchstone Re, that the CLA is available in the company that you specified in the Associate Loss to Company fields.
