Associate HPC node groups
System administrators install and configure Microsoft® HPC components, when they install Touchstone and Touchstone Re .

Configure HPC resources in the HPC Node Group Association pane. For your changes to take effect, the application prompts you to restart both the IIS Application Services component and the Touchstone or Touchstone Re client.

Business Unit | Select one or more business units to associate with the node group. |
Role | Select one or more roles to associate with the node group. |
Activity Type | Select one or more activity types to associate with the node group. |
Minimum/Maximum Cores | Enter the minimum and maximum number of cores for the activity type to use.
Either the system administrator or business unit administrator sets the number of
available cores.If you select the LOSS activity type, note that it supports a minimum
of 2 cores and a maximum of 10 cores in pairs of two. The maximum for LOSS must be
less than or equal to the maximum number of cores available in the HPC cluster. Users can only specify an even number of cores in the New Detailed Loss Analysis > Analysis Management pane. |
Node Group | Select a node to include in the node group. Click in the Node Group cell and then select a group from the Node Group list. |
