Exporting a Project |
Touchstone enables you to export some or all of the following data associated with any project in your business unit:
· Exposure view definitions
· Exposure sets in CEDE 2.0 or UNICEDE/2 format
· Reinsurance program definitions and associations
· Analysis results and metadata
· Loss analysis templates
· Currency rate sets
Touchstone exports the data and a project definition file to a directory that you specify. You can share the data with others or archive it for your records. You can also import the project at a later time.
To export a project:
1. On the Home tab, highlight the project to export.
2. On the global menu bar, click Export.
The Manage Projects wizard appears. Alternatively, select Projects on the Export menu and then select the project to export.
3. In the Export will include field, select the type of data to export:
• Exposure Data: Exposure view definitions, exposure sets, and reinsurance programs
• Results (CLF): Analysis results and analysis metadata
• UNICEDE/2: Exposure data in UNICEDE/2 format.
You can export exposure data as CEDE 2.0 databases and/or UNICEDE/2 files. You must select Exposure Data before you select UNICEDE/2.
4. If you selected Results (CLF), configure the Select Loss Results (CLF) section.
5. If you selected Exposure Data, configure the Confirm Exposure & Select Formats section.
6. If you selected UNICEDE/2, configure the UNICEDE/2 & LOB Mapping section.
7. Configure the Export Options section.
8. Optionally, deselect Close on Export to keep AIR ExportExpress open after you submit the export job.
9. Click Export.
You can monitor the progress of the export job and view a log file for the job in the Activity Monitor.
