Field Mapping Window |
In the Field Mapping window, perform the following actions:
• Click Run Automap to run the automapping process. For detailed information, see Automapping Column Headings.
• On the Contracts, Locations, Reinsurance, and Step Function Field Mapping tabs, map fields in your source data files that AIR ImportExpress did not recognize during the automapping process. For detailed information about mapping fields in import files to Touchstone fields, see Field Mappings.
You must map at least the set of required fields that Touchstone indicates in the Required Fields area of each Field Mapping tab. Touchstone may map some of these required fields automatically during the automapping process. AIR recommends that you also map additional fields in your import files to Touchstone fields. The more risk-specific information you import, the more accurate your loss results will be. Note the and symbols on each tab. Each indicates successful mapping of required fields. Each indicates that further mapping actions are needed. |
• On the Contracts, Locations, and Reinsurance Defaults tabs, set defaults that Touchstone uses to fill in blank fields in your imported data for contracts, locations, and reinsurance files. For detailed information about setting defaults, see Defaults.
• When you have finished editing the settings on a tab, click Apply to apply the changes. When you have finished editing the settings on all the tabs, click OK.
For more information about editing mapping sets, see Editing Mapping Sets.
