Adding Contracts

Adding contracts.

You can add contracts to an exposure view by entering the contract details in the user interface or by copying and pasting the contract details from a spreadsheet.

Touchstone identifies required fields with a red asterisk *.

Procedure

To add a contract:

  1. Open the contract list.
  2. To add a contract manually:
    1. In the highlighted empty row at the top of the grid, click in the Contract ID cell.

      A red box appears around the cell.

    2. Enter a unique contract ID.
    3. In the remaining columns, type other contract information.
    4. Press Enter.
  3. To add contracts by copying and pasting from a spreadsheet:
    1. In the spreadsheet, copy the rows that contain the contracts that you want to copy.
    2. In Touchstone, right-click in the Contract List pane and then click Paste on the shortcut menu.

    The copied contracts appear at the bottom of the grid.

  4. Click (Save).

    If you do not want to save the changes, click and then click No in the Save project dialog box.
