Canceling an Activity

When the status of an activity is anything other than "Completed" or "Completed with Exceptions", you can cancel the activity from the Activity Monitor grid.

Note:

The Cancel Activity function is not available for activities whose type is "Delete".

Procedure

To cancel an activity:

  1. In the grid, right-click an activity whose status is not "Completed" or "Completed With Exceptions" and then select Cancel Activity , or click Cancel Activity on the ribbon.

    A confirmation dialog box appears.

  2. If you want to proceed, click OK.
  3. When the cancellation is complete, the status in the Activity Monitor will be "Canceled".
