  • Preserve user-supplied and premium latitudes and longitudes

Retains the user-supplied or premium latitudes and longitudes that are in the exposure data location file and updates or backfills the exposure data with supported administrative and/or postal data (and related SIDs) based on reverse geocoding with the preserved geocodes. Touchstone geocodes all other records using whichever geocoder option you have selected (AIR Geocoder or Premium Geocoder) to geocode your exposure.

  • Preserve premium geocoding latitudes and longitudes

Retains only the premium latitudes and longitudes that are in the exposure data location file and updates or backfills the exposure with supported administrative and/or postal data (and related SIDs) based on reverse geocoding with the preserved geocodes. Touchstone geocodes all other records using whichever geocoder option you have selected (AIR Geocoder or Premium Geocoder) to geocode your exposure.

  • Overwrite user-supplied and premium latitudes and longitudes

Overwrites all user-supplied and premium latitudes and longitudes that exist in the exposure data location file, using whichever geocoder option you have selected (AIR Geocoder or Premium Geocoder) to geocode your exposure.

User-supplied Geocode Match Level Mapping Set

Select the user-supplied geocode match level mapping set to use as the default. You can do this only if you first select Preserve user-supplied and premium latitudes and longitudes.

To map your source user-supplied geocode resolution codes, that are populated in your input location data, to AIR GeoMatchLevelCodes, make sure that you perform the following steps during import:

  1. Ensure you have source geocode resolution codes populated in your location data.

  2. Edit the location file column mappings during import: map the column with your source user-supplied geocode resolution codes to the Touchstone UserGeoMatchLevelCode column (which is stored in the tLocation table in Touchstone).

  3. Under import options, select the appropriate existing user-supplied geocode match level mapping set for your user-supplied geocode resolution codes.

Note:

If the appropriate user-supplied geocode match level mapping set is not available, create one with the code mapping rules that you want to use for your source geocode resolution codes. You do this via Touchstone's User-Supplied Geocode Match Level Mapping Sets (keyref="k_help_tsre_ > Object Management).

Geocoder

Select whether to use AIR Geocoder or Premium Geocoding (Optional Licensing).

If you select the premium geocoding option, configure it to specify selected countries and to exclude by Line of business.

Note:

The premium geocodes obtained by licensing this feature are restricted for use only within Touchstone and cannot be used outside of Touchstone. These are identified by the GeocoderCode = 'Syncsort' column in the AIRReference database and in the AIRExposure and AIRResult database (or renamed versions of the exposure and results databases). For the export feature, these premium geocodes are either encrypted or removed during export to comply with these contractual restrictions. Direct extracts of premium geocodes from the Touchstone databases are also contractually prohibited.

Offshore IED Platform Validation

Select whether to match against existing and removed platforms or to match only against existing platforms.
